SUNLUN. is a minimalist streetwear brand built in Sunderland, inspired by the pride and identity of Wearside.

Founded by a local lad with a love for creating and a drive to build something proper, SUNLUN. represents more than just clothing, it’s for people who carry Wearside with them wherever they go.

Everything’s designed, cut and pressed in Sunderland. Just clean designs made with graft, pride, and purpose.

HOW IT STARTED.

It all started with a daft sketch of a Sunderland player. I stuck it on Etsy for a laugh - and someone bought it.

That hobby turned into North East Sporting Moments, where I’ve since created and sold hundreds of original designs - including a 10-piece tribute I gave to Luke O’Nien to mark his 300th Sunderland appearance, and a shirt inspired by Eliezer Mayenda’s ‘Oi big man!’ chant, which Eliezer wore as he celebrated our Championship play-off final win.

These were moments I’ll never forget, and they’ve given me the drive and belief that I could turn this into something more.

SUNLUN. is about making something that means something. Quality gear with roots in where it’s from.

I wanted to create clothing that feels personal, local, and built to last. Simple, clean design that says where you’re from without needing to shout it.

SUNLUN. isn’t just inspired by Sunderland - it is Sunderland.

I was born here, raised here, and still go to the match every other Saturday with the same season ticket I’ve had for years. My family’s from here. My roots run deep - and so does this brand.

Every design is created, cut, and pressed in Sunderland. I work with other Sunderland businesses whenever I can, from printing to packaging. If I can keep it local, I will. It matters.

The t-shirts I use are made from organic cotton, and I’m working to make everything I can recyclable, reusable, and responsibly sourced, including labels and packaging.

I’m always working on something - whether it’s a new design, a drawing, cutting vinyl, pressing clothing, or packing orders.

SUNLUN. came from the same drive that started North East Sporting Moments - a need to keep creating and making things I’m proud of, and that I genuinely love doing.

There’s always another idea in the back of my head, another design I want to try, or another bit of Wearside I want to turn into something you can wear.

I don’t know exactly where it’ll all go, but I know I’m not done.

This brand’s going to keep moving because I am - and I can’t wait to see where it goes next.
